2/24/12
Dear Jake,
This Friday with Grammy we spent some time just rocking and talking all about your wonderful christening day! We talked about what a great day it was and how lucky you are to have so many family and friends that wanted to come and celebrate with you!
The day started early to get the community room at the Shipyard all set for the party. The dessert table included a cake with your handsome, smiling face. Father Chris, who married your Mom and Dad was kind enough to return to St. Paul's church in Hingham for your baptism. You were the sixth generation of the Crowley family to be baptized at St. Paul's! Your Godparents, Aunt Jen and Uncle Jack proudly held you as you wore the same baptismal gown that your Mom had worn 31 years ago! Your Dad promised you it would be the last time that they put a dress on you! The ceremony was wonderful and we all collectively prayed that you will always have the grace of God in your life.  I promise we will all be there to help you!
Then we were off to a celebration luncheon at the Shipyard! You loved every moment of it in your white tux, smiling the afternoon away! You really seemed to understand that the party was for you and fought off any idea of sleeping. It was a wonderful afternoon full of happiness with all of the people who love you so much!

Love you,
 Grammy!!
