Today was the first of I hope many fun Fridays with Jake! In my wildest dreams I never thought I would be lucky enough to have such a beautiful Grandson, let alone have him live minutes away! Being a Grandparent is just what all my friends have described; wonderful! It really puts the spark back into life! So, since I always wanted to keep more of a what was called a diary when I was raising my kids, I plan to keep a blog of my adventures as a Grammy! This week Jake and I put on classical music and we played "conductor". He loves to swing his arms so he thought it was really cool that I was doing that too! He is beginning to see colors and enjoyed reading a few books. Jake decided to have some swing time and as he swung towards me, I kissed his toes. When I stopped, he stuck his foot out at me and without a word managed to let me know he wanted to continue the game!
